How am I doing?: Sorry this blog is a little late, I couldn't find my Senior Project packet with what we needed to blog about until recently. On February 5, I arrived at AT&T Park for FanFest and met with my mentor Sue Petersen. She introduced me to Blaine Mauldin, who helps her with the Giants Community Fund. During FanFest, the other volunteers and I sold "Mystery Grab Bags" for $20 per bag. We sold around 550-600 bags and when we sold out of grab bags, we began selling raffle tickets and old San Francisco Giants posters.
I received an email from Blaine that said we had been able to raise just over $30,000. All the money goes towards community needs. At last year's FanFest the community Fund raise nearly $25,000, and Blaine had said that this has been the most successful FanFest so far.
